I am a Sri Lankan living in Canada, and before this season, I did not know any of the contestants. They were all new faces to me. However, after watching the game, I started appreciating Parvathy, purely because of her talent, strength, and honesty in the house. I am not saying she is perfect, but she was certainly better than most of the other contestants.
The most disappointing part of this season is the host. It is very clearly visible that the host was not fair. His behaviour showed obvious bias, and because of that, many things went wrong in the show. Due to this unfair hosting, Vijay TV itself is now getting a bad name.
Santra’s repeated dramatic behaviour was accepted and supported, possibly because of personal connections. If someone genuinely suffers from a panic attack, they should be under medical observation and care. In this case, she returned to the house within a very short time and continued normally, which made many viewers question the truth of the situation.
Parvathy and Cammu were used heavily for TRP, and once their purpose was served, they were removed from the show unfairly. After being sent out with a red card, they are left helpless because of the agreement they signed with the channel. They are not even allowed to move to another channel or platform. This shows how much power the channel holds over contestants.
This entire situation sends a strong warning to future contestants: please be extremely careful before signing agreements with Vijay TV. The channel appears to prioritize money over people’s lives and dignity.
I strongly believe that God is watching, and people are not fools. Many viewers clearly understand what Vijay TV is doing. For the sake of money, Parvathy and Cammu’s lives and careers were deeply affected. This is truly heartbreaking and unacceptable.
