Miyazaki follows the same risk as Tom Howard of becoming OBSOLETE. If Bethesda worked like FromSoftware they had already made TES8 or 9 with the same old engine they did Skyrim but with slightly better looking graphics and people would be sedated over the hype of the new game. On the other hand, if FromSoftware had made Elden Ring 10+ years after Dark Souls 3, people would have a "Did I waited wo much for a Dark Souls 4 with open world?"
